Akira Kariya (狩矢 光, Kariya Akira) is a first year student and the deuteragonist of Try Knights.
Appearance[]
Akira is a physically fit high school freshman with a shock of blonde hair and yellow eyes.
Rather than the full uniform, Akira only wears brown slacks and a white shirt, nonchalantly unbuttoned, and with a loose tie.
Personality[]
With reflexes and fitness enough to excel at rugby, Akira nonetheless initially tries to avoid it until drawn back in by Riku Haruma. Together they have a strong, if fractious, friendship.
Etymology[]
- The name Akira means "light" (光).
- Akira's surname Kariya means "hunt/hunter/hunting, raid, gather" (狩) (kari) and "arrow" (矢) (ya).
